Subject:
Leach's History of Warwick School
This book, which took 12 years between being started (in 1894) and its eventual publication (in 1906) was extremely important for both the town and school of Warwick. 100 years later, though, it is obvious that Leach had access to very few school archives (there simply aren't any eraly ones), and his book is very much about the town rather than the school!
As Archivist of Warwick School, I have used Leach's work extensively in the publication of "Warwick School: A History" by G N Frykman and E J Hadley, which was published by Gresham Books in November 2004.
